Richard McDonald (GAICD)

Managing Director

Richard has over 35 years’ hands on operational experience, through supervisory roles, project management and development. His total commitment to Safety, Quality, Environmental protection and continuous improvement coupled with a thorough and broad knowledge of the civil construction industry has been gained by his direct involvement in multi-facet projects in Australia, East Timor and Vanuatu. Richard believes in driving the development, implementation and ongoing operation of all projects from conception to completion.

 

Erik Stokes

Chief Representative (East Timor)

Erik has over 20 years’ experience in the civil, mining and engineering industries including workshop management, heavy haulage, construction and bulk operations.  Erik brings to RMS’s East Timor operation superior liaison and management skills demonstrated by the delivery of completed projects to the client’s satisfaction through his disciplined project management skills ensuring contracts are well recorded and remain transparent.

 

Glen Langfeldt (GAICD, DipPM, DipBus)

Operations Manager (Australia)

Glen has more than 20 years’ project and construction management experience at varying management levels across a multitude of varying civil and building projects. With an excellent appreciation for both operational leadership and project governance, Glen provides solid guidance and grounding for our project teams, both operationally and in business development. He was recognised in 2003, with an Australian Day Medallion for his construction professionalism, and on a separate occasion awarded a Commendation by the United Nations for similar construction efforts overseas.  Glen takes a personal approach to both project safety and the environment under our ‘Zero Harm’ initiatives, and has extensive experience with project cost control and forecasting techniques, as well as a strong appreciation of project planning and programming; assisting our Clients to succeed.

 

Andrew O’Neill (DipOHS)

HSEQ Manager

With over 20 years’ civil industry experience in various supervisory and leadership roles including 10 years’ experience working in civil HSEQ positions, Andrew  brings a wealth of experience within this field.  He has demonstrated ability in educating staff on their overall responsibility for site safety and safe work practices and regularly visiting work sites to ensure compliance of HSEQ procedures.  Andrew also provides site supervision as required and builds and maintains relationships with clients and stakeholders as well as developing and implementing the company’s Integrated Management System across all RMS offices.

 

Helen Hobbs (BCom, MBA, CPA)

Senior Financial Controller

Helen has over 20 years’ experience through a cross section of finance accounting roles in the public and private sector fields as well as spending time working in the United Kingdom.  and private sector fields as well as spending time working in the United Kingdom. Helen has been employed directly by RMS for many years, and more recently as an independent accounting consultant.

 

Barry Lowe

Business Consultant

Barry brings over 40 years’ experience in banking and finance sector specialising in commercial banking – regional banking agribusiness, alliances and succession planning.  Barry’s in depth knowledge in the finance and banking field provide RMS with strong professional and expert knowledge to enable the business to develop within the construction industry.
